Acceptance of terms

By using PlainTally, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What PlainTally is

PlainTally provides free, browser-based financial calculators (mortgage, and others as they're added). Every calculator does its math locally in your browser using the formulas stated on that page — nothing you enter is sent to or stored on our servers.

Not financial advice

PlainTally's calculators produce estimates for general planning purposes only. They are not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and they don't account for your full financial situation. Always confirm important numbers with a qualified professional (a lender, accountant, or financial advisor) before making a financial decision.

No warranties

PlainTally is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the calculators are accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or error-free, or that they'll meet your particular needs.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlainTally and its operator aren't liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site — including decisions made based on a calculator's output.

Advertising

PlainTally is supported by Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve ads. See our Privacy Policy for details on advertising cookies and how to opt out.

Intellectual property

The PlainTally name, design, and calculator content belong to PlainTally. You're welcome to link to any page on this site. Please don't copy or republish the calculators or their content without permission.
